The leading long-haul network on departure from Europe is looking for KAM for Abu Dhabi

Purpose of the job

In accordance with local and Head Offices commercial policies, manages and acquires a portfolio of key and multinational corporate accounts and travel partners in order to achieve flown revenue and market share targets at optimal margins for the Group and its partners.

Organisational Context

 The UAE Sales organisation is split into two offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, handling both corporate and trade clients
 The Key Account Manager is working closely with Sales support, Indoor Sales and the Commercial Regional team
 Key Account Manager DXB and AUH report to Country Manager UAE.

Key Result Areas
1. In line with commercial guidelines provided by local Management and Head Offices, manages a portfolio of key and multinational corporate accounts and travel partners in order to increase revenue and market share and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Core activities:
 Leads contract negotiations with their accounts and creates tailor-made solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and Group profit;
 Participates in clients’ events and develops strong working relationships with key interfaces in order to develop Group’s awareness and image in the UAE market;
 In cooperation with the Inside Sales Team, prepares and plans clients visits in order to update them on latest product and services;
 Ensures the application of pricing and distribution policies.
2. In cooperation with Sales Management, analyses and evaluates performance figures in order to achieve sales targets at optimal margins for the Group and its partners.
Core activities:
 Evaluates relevant performance statistics in order to regularly adapt contracts to clients needs, by proactively identify their needs and proposing corrective actions;
 Ensures continuation of positive trends, reversal of negative trends, and ways of capturing untapped potential;
 Assesses the ROI of each account and takes relevant actions;
 Contributes to the drawing up of the Marketing Action Plan per travel agency/firm segment and implements it;
 Ensures solution of clients’ issues through delegation and feedback to relevant departments.
