Our client a multinational company, is looking to recruit a Training Operations Co-ordinator for their operations based in Dubai.

Overview of role:

In support of their regional expansion of training across the MENA region, they are looking for someone to take on responsibility for managing the operations of training. This is a client facing role and will include supporting all aspects of the course delivery, before, during and after the training. It is an ideal opportunity for a results driven all-rounder who will enjoy working on their own initiative and with other professionals across the company. The right candidate will be driven to grow the training division of the company in the MENA region as a business and a brand and have a clear vision for doing so.

Reporting to the Training Manager based in Dubai. The role will involve travel across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Venue management – research suitable venues, negotiate competitive rates and undertake ongoing venue liaison
• Venue logistics – course delivery administration, catering, badges, attendance lists etc
• Online logistics – setting up web class in adobe connect, hosting web class
• Trainer administration – pre-and post-course trainer management including booking in and managing delivery dates, trainers’ travel, special requirements, presentations and papers
• Financial administration associated with training courses – purchase orders, invoices, manage and update P&Ls
• Training measurement –maintain evaluation forms and collate and analyse data post event and report to Training Manager
• Training materials - manage course material production, distribution and update
• Delegate management – sign-in sheets, pre-and-post course communication, delegate lists, certificates
• Delegate queries – respond to customers as needed
• Reporting – as needed to Training Manager
• Maintain, improve and innovate systems and processes

• High level of client service with a good telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Experience as a logistics coordinator within a commercial training or conference organisation.
• Strong project management and logistics skills – delivery on time and within budget.
• Customer focused and ability to build good internal relationships.
• Highly IT literate.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Cost management and planning skills.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience of procurement and supplier management.
• Fluent in English.
